Kate Westbrook Exhibition - Preview Friday 3rd February 2012

Friends of Brownston Gallery gathered together to enjoy the opening night of Devon artist Kate Westbrook's exhibition - INTHEEYEOFTHEBEHOLDER - a collection of over forty paintings depicting a wide range of local landscapes and seascapes featuring Kate's unique view of life in the South West. New works include the iconic Hot Late Afternoon, St Ives; Incoming Tide on the Teign; Drawing on Dartmoor from Smallacombe Rocks; and The Yellow Hut on the Sea Wall, Afternoon.  Guests enjoyed meeting Kate and her husband Jazz composer Mike Westbrook and chatting about her work.  Also in attendance  were artists Stephen Bishop and Teresa Pemberton.  The show runs until 3rd March.
