Studied first at Ravensbourne college of Art, Chislehurst then went to Loughborough University where he gained B.A (Hons) Fine Art. Whilst studying for his degree, Richard worked on The Seven Obsessions exhibition at The Whitechapel, London during which time he built and maintained strong links with The Slade school of Art. After relocating to the South West he has been featured in Art in Devon magazine and has work on permanent display at Plymouth University. Exhibitions include work shown at The Royal William Yard, The Waterfront, and Plymouth University Graphic Expressionists.
Working digitally using tablet and pen, Richard's Urban Themes often include deserted environments and abandoned items, the representational juxtaposed with abstract design.
